Dr H : Hello…

Amy : Hello…Is this Mr H ?… I am Amy from some bank.. I have been trying to call you a few times..

Dr H : Yes , I know.. AND I have been trying to avoid answering your calls..

Amy : I am calling to ask you if you need RM9000.00. My bank is offering you RM9000 loan with no bla bla bla……

Dr H : No…not interested.

Amy : Not enough ar? How much you want? RM10,000 ?

Dr H : I am a very busy man , Amy… I am not interested in your offer.

Amy : Just tell me how much you need, I will try to talk to my boss.

Dr H : Amy , you are not listening.. I DUN F*** need any loan from you..

Amy : Why?

Dr H : BECAUSE I AM A AH LONG !! YOU WANT MONEY? I CAN LOAN TO YOU . HOW MUCH YOU WANT? RM100,000 ???

I dunno la..my nurse ke, saya sendiri ke…but it happened liao… The other day , I tertumpah asid on my wrist. I can blame the nurse for not screwing the lid tight enough, or I can blame the kaifan uncle for giving me fei char siew also…..eh.. no connection meh?.. Anyway, inilah akibatnya… It doesn’t look so painful on photos..but let me tell you…. OUCHHHHHHH…..

This one just kena like 10 minutes. Burning like siao…

About 2 days after the incident…merah menyala…

Starting to peel dy…can see the ‘cooked’ brownish skin?

Peeling dalam proses… sometimes the other tangan very gatal , gi kopek the skin..hehe..

Nampaknyer , the burn was quite deep, got scarring liao.. nemind la.. ada remedy nyer…

Nahh….healed liao…

Dr H : Hi Mrs Lee*….. Come have a seat.

Mrs Lee : Oh hi.. You dun charge me so high for consultation ar.. Give me discount ar..

Dr H : Sit down first la… Not see you, already mintak discount.

Mrs Lee : Ok , my knees hor….bla bla bla….. my back hor… bla bla bla.. my neck hor…. bla bla  bla..

after 30 minutes……

Mrs Lee : So what do you think ar?.. I went to a lot of doctors liao… They all told me the same thing, I need injection.

Dr H: They are right… You do need that injection.

Mrs Lee : How much you charge ? Must give discount ar !..

Dr H : My charges are very reasonable. It’s RM XXX per injection. I am sure you have scouted around to find out the prices at other places.

Mrs Lee : Ya la… You think what?.. Like buy groceries also have to go compare prices ma.. Give some more discount la..

Dr H : I am sorry la Mrs Lee… The medicine is very expensive and the price that I charge is already the cheapest around, I am sure you know that too…

Mrs Lee : Then you give free consultation la…

Dr H : Mrs Lee…. Specialist consultation is actually very expensive one , here I am charging you as a GP consultation nia.

Mrs Lee : Then you give la something free….Na..na….*grab bandage*..Give this free la… *look around consultation room*… Some more what you have here?

Dr H : AUNTIE !!!…. I am going to charge you for whatever you bring out from my room.. This is ridiculous !! I have never seen anyone like you before.

Mrs Lee : *stunt*.. Wahh….. you angry ar?… Ok Ok…..sorry sorry..

Outside the consultation room,

Dr Eve overheard,

Mrs Lee : Wah..Lou Kong ar…. Here the injection so much cheaper wor compared to Dr so and so…. I try to ask for somemore discount , kekeke…but kenot la…He wont give… But I got this bandage free..

I brought my maid to a nearby dentist to have her tooth extracted. I personally know this dentist , as I have brought my daughter there too. So , I am familiar with the charges and fees. Well , I don’t know whether it is because my maid is a foreigner or the prices of things have gone up tremendously , because she charged my maid almost double the normal price. I did not make a fuss, I paid.

A few days later , the dentist herself came and saw me for some ailment. I did  abdomen ultrasound and gave a lengthy explanation on her condition.

Now , what is the correct thing to do when it comes to charging her for the ultrasound done?

I did not charge anything. It just doesn’t sound right. The look on her face told me , I did the right thing…. Gratitute…. or issit Guilt?…haha..

Tu la… mengumpat too much abt patients getting MC’s…. Now my turn.. Got fever today, telan-ed 2 bijik panadol and sms-ed hubby aka Boss. Boss said, ” Ya la…fever liddat one ler..pas makan panadol ok la tu!”. Chey , you think I dunno how to treat myself meh? I nid MC only… hehe…

Not getting any la…. going to rest for a while, cos tonight mia appointments berlambak…

I need to hug someone something to sleep… Sapa boleh tawarkan diri?  Good Night…. ZZzzzz..

Uncle : I want MC for my daughter for last Friday one. She didn’t go to work.

Dr Eve : Last Friday? I am sorry la , I am not supposed to give back dated MCs.

Uncle : But my family always come and see you one.

Dr Eve : Yes , I know, but that does not mean that I will give you MC as and when you like ma..

Uncle : How can you do this to me?

Dr Eve : Please let  me explain.. First of all , I did not see your daughter last Friday..So if I didn’t see her , how can I issue the MC saying that she was sick on that day leh? This is not right..

Uncle : You just have to take my word for it. She was having a headache , and she took Panadol and was better. DON’T TELL ME FOR A HEADACHE LIKE THAT SHE HAS TO COME AND SEE YOU??

Dr Eve : Well , if she needs the MC , she has to come.

Uncle : After she took the Panadol ok already , that means it is not severe la..That also have to come all the way here to see you for the MC.

Dr Eve : I understand that  THAT 5 minutes walk from your house to my clinic can be a bit tiring..( his house is right behind my clinic)…but..

Uncle : My whole family come to see you one…like that also you say cannot…OK la..next time I ask them not to come to your clinic already la..My panel clinic in KL will give me one, it’s just far only.

Dr Eve : That is totally up to you…I cannot force you to come right? As long as you understood the reason why I cannot issue the MC , then…I have nothing more to say.

Uncle : I WILL NOT COME TO YOUR CLINIC ANYMORE..AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FAMILY MEMBERS THE SAME THING. *slam door*

The whole time he talked to me , he didn’t look me in the eye. He was talking to the wall. His attitude really irked me. If he wasn’t that rude , I think I would have given the MC to him, out of sympathy. Haihs…
